If your
operating system is Windows Vista or Windows 7 then you will need
to do the following 2 steps in order to run the Design Studio plugin for Revit:
1.
Download and run the installation
package, then run the Design Studio as an administrator.
2.
Either add www.ArchitectsDesignStudio.com as
a trusted site -OR-
Run Revit with
Administrative privileges.
1.
Download and run the installation package, then run the plugin
updater as an administrator.
Click the
"GET THE PLUG-IN" button on the main launch page and
then click "Run"
The plug-in
installer will start downloading, when it is finished click
"Run" again.
Follow the steps in the installation
wizard. Once it is finished the installer may run the
Georgia-Pacific Design Studio plugin updater application.
If this application runs automatically then you must close it
because it may not have sufficient privileges under your user
account.
Start the application as an
administrator from the windows start bar (Start -> Programs ->
Architects Design Studio -> Georgia Pacific Design Studio) by
right clicking on the application and selecting "Run as
administrator"
2.
Add
www.architectsdesignstudio.com to your list of trusted sites
1. In Internet Explorer Click the Tools button
or menu, and then click Internet Options.
2. Click the Security tab, and then
click a security zone (Trusted sites).
3. Click Sites.
4. If you clicked Local intranet in the previous step, click Advanced.
5. The website should be shown in the Add this website to the zone field. Click Add.
If the site is not a secure site (HTTPS), clear the Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone check box.
6. Click Close.

-OR- Run Revit with Administrative Privileges
Go to the
Revit program icon and
Right Click on the Icon.
Select the Run as Administrator Option.
