Install Java Runtime Environment

 

How do I download and install the Java Runtime Environment (jre)

  1. By selecting the Click Here link you will skip directly to step 4, or go to www.java.com to where you may download the JAVA Virtual Machine.    

 

  1. Your browser will open Java.com and you can download the Java Virtual Machine for free.  When Java Virtual Machine is downloaded and installed you are then ready to use the Design Studio.

 

  1. Click on Download Now to begin downloading Java Virtual Machine

 

       

 

  1. The Security Warning box will open and you will be asked if you want to install this software. Click on the install button to start the install.

 

         

 

 

  1. The License Agreement will appear next. Select Typical setup and then click on the Accept button.

 

       

 

 

  1. Installation Complete will open and notify you that Install Wizard successfully installed J2SE Runtime Environment. Click on the Finish button and you are now able to use the Design Studio.
